United States of America-based Nongovernmental Organization, SDG-3 Global Health Initiative will hold a mental health awareness worship as it moves to create awareness on major health issues globally.

The health-based foundation which is an affiliation of UNESCO Center for Peace will have seasoned psychiatrists educate people at the program tagged ‘Everything Mental Health’.

According to the founder of the initiative, the event will go a long way in telling people what to do as more than 10% of the global population is suffering from one mental health issue or another.

More than 20% of children and adolescents suffer from some type of mental health disorder according to research and workshops like this will help create awareness on how to identify and manage mental health issues.

“Most people are only aware of severe cases, but there are things people ignore that are mental health disorder and if we can identify and manage them, it will go a long way in flattening the curve for people with the various disorders”

The event will be featuring Dr. Gbonjubola Abiri and Dr. Adeola Adeyemi who are consultant Psychiatrists as speakers.

Dr. Abiri is a consultant psychiatrist, Managerial Psychologist, And Medical Director Of Tranquil & Quest Behavioral Health, Lagos, Nigeria, while Dr. Adeyemi who is the founder of Talk Mental Health is also a consultant psychiatrist, Mental Health Advocate, and Mental Fitness Coach.
