Nollywood star and former Special Adviser On Entertainment to Imo State Governor, has led some stars to call for an end to the recent violence that besieged Imo State.
The former governor’s aide said that he made the move as a true son of the state who sees the need for everyone to support the government’s efforts to restore peace in the state,
He said that the government is doing so much but it has reached when the people of the state will appreciate that and also throw in their support.
“This is not about being a former aide to the governor, this is about being a patriotic son of the state”, Bobby Michael said, adding that if everyone joins hands to call for peace in the state, who whole will truly see Imolites for who they are.
“We are peace-loving people and that is how the world should see us. I’m leading the movie stars of Imo extraction today but we need more from others until we have everyone in the state calling for peace”, he said.
Speaking further to www.otowngist.com, Bobby Michaels called on Imolites to put politics aside this time and embrace peace, because the effects of the violence in the state are not paying attention to one’s political inclinations.
“Hunger, destructions, bad economy does not look at the name of one’s political party. We are all affected, so we must all come together to support the governor and security agents in their moves to restore peace in the state”
