The entire movie industry is celebrating the safe release of movie producer and director Chibuzor Simon Emelu aka Pressing Forward.
Pressing Forward was abducted by gunmen on Saturday while filming in Imo State with reports saying that the kidnappers had demanded an initial 20 Million Naira ransom.
With members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria calling on security agents and the Imo State government to help secure the release of their colleague, news on Wednesday morning has it that the talented movie director has been freed by his abductors.
The Chairperson of AGN in Imo State, Lady Nneoma Ukpabi shared the news on Facebook with a photo of her and Pressing Forward, saying, “The eagle has landed. we received a call early hours this morning that Chibuzo Simon Emelu aka pressing forward is out from the lions den. to god be the glory”
Another reaction came from Prince Nollywood who shared a photo of Pressing Forward with Nneoma Ukpabi and Prince of Hollywood.
There are no details as to the terms of his release as no official statement has been made in that regard.
