The Police in Imo have arrested one Nnamuka Uchenna for supplying drugs to members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Eastern Security Network (ESN).
The 33-year-old was nabbed at his residence at Umuaka in Njaba Local Government Area.
Operatives also apprehended Chinedu Ukaegbulam, 20, and Augustine Ete, 39, during the operation.
A search of the suspect’s residence uncovered cocaine and other narcotics valued at about N150million, as well as a measuring scale.
Intelligence further exposed one Obinna Ohaji who disguised as a driver in search of passengers in a Nissan Caravan bus.
The vehicle was examined and detectives found a large quantity of cocaine.
Ohaji confessed that the substance was given to him to deliver to an unknown lady at Elele in Rivers State.
He led the command’s tactical teams to the border between Imo and Rivers where the receiver, one Princess Samuel, 17, was arrested.
Samuel admitted that she supplied IPOB ESN members in Rivers State.
Police spokesman, Michael Abattam said investigation is ongoing to trace the source of the drugs and arrest other members of the syndicate.
