The former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has Felicitated with Muslims across Nigeria on the auspicious occasion of the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir.
The former Deputy Governor’s statement was signed by his Adviser on Media & Publicity, Uche Onwuchekwa.
Prince Madumere urged Muslims to observe the day by embracing peace love and unity, which he described as the true principles of a progressive society.
He said the country in the last one decade has been facing variants of challenges, ranging from security, dreaded diseases and Covid-19 pandemic, which has brought most countries to their knees.
He called for prayers for God’s divine intervention and for his mercies and spiritual revival for peace, love and unity to suffice in the country.
He also solicited for Special prayers for President Muhammadu Buhari for his decisions and policies be such that will reflect the yearning of the people and where every section will feel at home, including other leaders at various layers.
In conclusion, he said: “Only peace, security, sacrifice and unity that will take Nigeria out of the woods”.
