The fans of the sonorous singer, Tems, have expressed their excitement as she unveiled the tracklist of her new EP, If Orange Was A Place. The songstress revealed that the five-track EP will be released on Wednesday.

The EP, which is written by the singer, is produced by Guilty Beatz and executively produced by Tems Wale Davies and Muyiwa Awoniyi.

Reacting to the unveiling and eventual release of the singer’s forthcoming project, a Twitter user with the handle @callmekvc, noted that the EP release date coincided with his birthday.

He wrote, “#iforangewasaplace by #tems coming soon 15th Sept 2021 & it’s on my birthday… I will be doing a ‘FREE’ music promo for this joint once it drops on Wednesday, watch out for it. If Orange Was A Place by Tems.”

Another user of the microblogging platform, @Lilbrizzy, while hailing the singer, tweeted, “Crazy how this boss lady be writing all her songs without songwriters. Queen.”

Another tweep, @_LovedbyGod, while expressing his excitement over the news, said, “I want to scream, this is huge, I’m in love with everything orange and everything Temilade. We Champ!” (sic).

The sonorous singer has been on a roll ever since she broke into the Nigerian music scene.

In August 2019, she released the hit single, Try Me. On September 25, 2020, she released her debut EP, For Broken Ears, which contains several tracks.

Her single, Damages, from the EP, became another follow-up hit to “Try Me” and it garnered about 2.7 million views on YouTube.

In 2020, her collaboration with Wizkid on their song “Essence” earned her a number one spot on BBC 1Xtra Airplay Chart; it also earned the songstress her first career entry on Billboard Hot 100.

On September 2, 2021, It was announced on billboards in Lagos that Tems was set to feature on singer Drake’s Certified Lover Boy album.
