The All Progressive Congress, APC, in Imo State, on Wednesday, was joined in it’s fold by the Publicity Secretary of the opposition, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr.Ogu Bundu Nwadike.

Nwadike gave reasons for his resignation, citing personal considerations after due consultations with his family.

Before his appointment as Imo PDP Spokesman, Nwadike was Special Assistant on Research to former governor Emeka Ihedioha.

When Ihedioha was removed as governor, he emerged Imo PDP spokesman, a position he used to reel out constant and relentless criticisms of the Hope Uzodinma led APC administration.

Part of Nwadike’s resignation letter read “This is to formally inform you of my decision to resign from my position as the state publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Imo State.

“My resignation takes effect immediately. I thank the PDP for giving me the opportunity to serve the party

Photos of Mr. Nwadike with stalwarts of the All Progressive Congress, APC including State Chairman of thr party, Marcellinus Nlemigbo, later surfaced online.

When contacted, the Director General, New Media, Imo APC, Mr.Cajethan Duke, confirmed Mr.Nwadike’s move to the APC.
