Gov. Hope Uzodinma has welcome President Muhammadu Buahri to Imo State on a working visit that will see the president commission series of projects executed by Imo State Government.
With the President arriving Owerri on Thursday amidst cheers from Imolites and APC stalwarts, the visit has been seen as one that will bring Federal presence to the state.
Governor Hope Uzodinma whom despite the economic situation in the country, continued to deliver dividends of democracy to people of Imo State has been rewarded with a presidential visit, something that places him ahead of his counterparts in Southern Nigerian especially.
Having inherited a state in a very terrible condition, the governor has continued to work for people delivering quality infrastructure and people oriented policies.
President Muhammadu Buahri’s visit to Imo State will see him commission key project in the state.
Already Gov. Hope Uzodinma has been lobbying for the construction of all federal roads in the state before the end of President Buhari’s tenure.
Projects to be commissioned include the First section of Federal Polytechnic Nekede road, alongside the remodelled Naze Junction.
Others are the Dick Tiger Erosion Control drainage with balloon technology, and New Imo State Exco Chambers.
Governor Hlope Uzodinma has also been hailed for the remodelling of all roundabouts in Owerri.
