The two protesting grounds in Imo State- Warehouse near Freedom Square and Okigwe road besides Government House, Owerri- were peaceful on Wednesday as youths shunned #ENDSARS protest in the State.

The ever-busy roads used last year by protesters to demonstrate their grievances over police brutality showed no sign of protest as everywhere remained calm.

Except for the traffic gridlock on the roads, motorists and passersby were moving freely without fear or anxiety.

Some of the youths who spoke to The Nation said Imo already appears like a war zone “so staging #ENDSARS anniversary protest is not worth it.”

The Thursday’s sit-at-home order by IPOB remained at motor parks and public places as people were seen discussing the issue.
