Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has reacted to the death of Pastor Nomthi Odukoya, wife of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya of The Fountain of Life Church.

Atiku expressed sadness over the death of Pastor Nomthi.

In a tweet, the former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate wrote: “I am profoundly saddened by the death of Pastor Nomthi Odukoya, the wife of Snr Pastor @pastortaiwo of The Fountain of Life Church.

“On behalf of my family, I express my deepest condolences to the Odukoya family, friends & loved ones and pray that her soul finds a gentle repose.”

Nomthi reportedly died after battling cancer for two years.

Pastor Taiwo lost his first wife, Bimbo, on December 10, 2005, as a result of the Sosoliso plane crash.

In 2010, Pastor Odukoya married Rosemary Nomthi, a South African.
