Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, will be without two players when they take on Liverpool in a Premier League tie on Saturday evening due to injuries.
The two players are Sead Kolasinac and Granit Xhaka.
Arsenal confirmed this in a statement via their website ahead of the Liverpool clash this weekend at Anfield.
Kolasinac sustained an injury on his left ankle, while Xhaka is recovering from a medial knee ligament injury.
The statement read, “Sead sustained a significant injury to his left ankle playing for Bosnia and Herzegovina during the international period. Sead is now starting his rehabilitation back in the UK and continues to be assessed.
“Granit is continuing to make good progress in his recovery from a medial knee ligament injury sustained on September 26. Granit is now running outside with the current aim to be back in full training in January.
“All other players in the men’s first-team squad are currently fit and available for selection.”
Arsenal head to the game following a 1-0 win over Watford in their last Premier League tie before the recent international break.
The kick-off time for Liverpool vs Arsenal is 6:30 pm.
