Ace Disk jockey, DJ Saquo has revealed that his upcoming event is not a competition between Hypemen and DJs as being said in different quarters.
DJ Saquo said that the event ‘The Meeting’ which is tagged Music Meets Hype is more of a platform for DJs and Hypemen to take the front row.
He said that the duo have never been at the front row of the entertainment industry and the event will afford them that opportunity.
“Imagine coming to an event just to watch DJs and Hypemen perform? Nothing more. Just imagine that” he said.
He further stated that the event will be a platform for them to express themselves adding that it is about them taking their place in entertainment.
“It is never and will never be a competition because I have had a lot of people saying things and others asking me the same question over and over again”
“The Mettling is about backseat entertainers coming out of their shells to take their place in entertainment and it is going to be a lovely experience, something you should not miss” he added.
For the event billed for Sunday November 21, 2021 at De Angels Bar and Grills New Owerri, Hypemen have been paired with DJs in the order of their performances.
Dj DY will be lining up with MC FK, while DJ Bombay will be performing alongside Hypeman Switice.
Others pairs are Unusual DJ TCee and Hypeman Bosch; DJ Xtreem and Moschino; DJ Nonny Ray and DJ Highness; DJ Smokie and Hypegod MC X with drums by Vibesticks while Zanders FM presenter Dayo Dynamo will be standing in as the host.
The eevent kicks off by 6:00pm at De Angels bar and Grills New Owerri, Imo State.
