The Honourable member representing Ikeduru State constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, Amb. Uche Ogbuagu has revealed how a prominent Ikeduru man(namewithheld) paid the former speaker huge sum of money to suspend him.

Ogbuagu during a recent radio interview had this to say,”It’s however very laughable to let Ikeduruans know that One self acclaimed Operational Leader from Ikeduru paid millions to the former Speaker to remove me as Majority Leader and later thanked them more for job well done.
“That’s how much he loves Ikeduru and want it developed. But I want to announce to him and his cohorts, that the Almighty God who brought that position is still the same yesterday, today and forever. He is too faithful to fail”.

Ogbuagu who described the acclaimed leader as enemy of Ikeduru said that what he did by that singular action was a curse to his lineage which was to seal off himself and his biological children and generation from attaining any elective position in this life, adding that political relevance  shall forever be far from them… No matter how much they spend. With this, they will know that there is God in Israel.

He further stated that things will soon begin to happen that will make people understand that we may be equal as citizens, but we are not equal in Grace.

The lawmaker describes his suspension hinged on unparliamentary conduct as momentary storm as well as a phase in his political sojourn, saying that it has made him stronger than ever.
The erstwhile Majority Leader explains that his suspension was man made as available records have clearly shown that he was not found wanting in the discharge of his Parliamentary duties.

Amb. Ogbuagu also appreciated the level of Solidarity shown him by different interest groups and well meaning indigenes of Ikeduru during the period of his removal as Majority Leader and suspension.

The Legislator stated these during the last edition of his monthly interactive briefing of his constituents christened “IKEDURU KWENU” on MyRadio 101.1FM Owerri.
