Jayz rarely pops out on social media, but when he does, best believe he always breaks the innanet! Earlier today, he hopped on Twitter Spaces to support Alicia Keys as she promoted her latest album, ‘Keys,’ and the topic of Verzuz was brought up. The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame rapper spoke about fellow New Yorker Jadakiss’s performance during the battle, saying it was one of the year’s best performances. However, his comments about the possibility of going hit-for-hit against any artist that had his name trending on Twitter.

Jay shut everything down with his response stating nobody could stand on a stage with him. “No one can stand on that stage with me,” the rapper said. “It’s not a chance in hell that anyone can stand on that stage with me. You gotta stand in front of the Grammy Family Freestyle live?” The conversation was live-tweeted on TIDAL, and they made sure to catch all that the legendary rapper had to say.

He also brought his wife into the conversation when he talked about comparing the King of Pop Michael Jackson and Beyoncé. “Bey’s gonna be mad at this for saying this, but Michael Jackson never had a Coachella. She’s an evolution of him because she watched him at 9. And [the kids are] the same. Hov also brought up Coachella and posed the question, “Find me a concert that’s as culturally relevant and thrilling as Coachella?” He bragged once more about his wife, declaring that Bey is gonna be one of the best singers we have ever heard because she is such a student.
