The much talked about Imo Stakeholder’s meeting have come and gone with Governor Hope Uzodimma failing to name the sponsors of insecurity in the sate.

Gov. Uzodinma who since the inception of insecurity in the state blamed opposition politicians had earlier in 2021 announced he would be naming those behind the surge in Imo.

Saving the best for last, Gov. Uzodinma took time to outline the achievement of his administration as well as plans to kickstart road construction and other projects.

He centered on the recovery of properties emersed by former administrations, also taking time renew his rivalry with Senator Rochas Okorocha.

He said that traditionally he is older than Okorocha, adding that the major problem of the former governor is that he still wants to be in office years after leaving office.

On the sponsors of insecurity in the state, he blamed the social and mainstream media for playing it up and then politicizing it.

“social media and mainstream media did not help matters* the governor said., adding that he would then leave it in the hands of security agents.

Analysts and all corners of the media had earlier blamed the governor for saying he would be naming those sponsoring insecurity in the state.

They wondered why the governor had taken the job of security agents, with different quarters saying that any list from the governor would be a joke.

Opposition politicians who were anxiously waiting for the list will have to either celebrate or make jokes out of the governor’s failure to reveal the names.

Governor Hope Uzodimma however commended all security agencies in the state for ensuring a hitch fee Christmas celebration across all communities of the state.
