Augustine Eguavoen has hinted he could take charge of the Super Eagles, when they clash with Ghana in March 2022.

Nigeria take on their West African rivals for a place in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Eguavoen led the team to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, where they were dumped out in the round of 16 by Tunisia.

Following their AFCON exit, Eguavoen announced he would return to his role as Technical Director at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

“That I cannot answer,” he said.
