Nollywood actress Nneoma Ukpabi has revealed that the death of her mother is one shock she is yet to come to terms with.
The award-winning actress who spoke in Owerri said that mothers are irreplaceable and as it stands, a huge vacuum has been created in her life.
Nneoma Ukpabi who is also the Chairperson of the Actors Guild of Nigeria in Imo State said that even when she will have to live with the fact that her mother is no longer alive, it will take time for her and other members of her family to adjust to that fact.
“Special people are irreplaceable; there’s no point in thinking of how to replace them and that is how my mother is”
“She is a fine woman; a mother, friend and I owe her everything I have achieved today because she sweated for me to all the way to achieve them”
“It is so unfortunate that she is no longer here with us but we totally submit to the will of God and pray He grants her eternal rest”, she said.
Late Mrs. Fransisca Obianuju Ukpabi who was aged 64, died on October 14 2021 with her burial rites scheduled to take place between January 27 and 28, 2022 at her hometown Umuezealansu in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.
Entertainers are expected to converge at her hometown for a wakekeep on January 27 ahead of the main burial ceremony on January 28, 2022.
