A gang of armed men have struck in Plateau, forcefully taking the wife of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Silas Vem.
Dorcas Vem was grabbed Monday night from her residence at Little Rayfield close to the Government House in Jos
The attackers sped off and later contacted the family to demand a N50 million ransom.
Also, gunmen abducted Dr Samuel Audu, a Director in the Ministry of Health.
The captive is the Medical Doctor, Na Allah Na Kowa Hospital in Barakin-Ladi Local Government Area.
The official was attacked around 9:30 pm while driving home from work.
A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) member in Plateau, Hon. Kemi Nshe and Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) Chairman in Plateau State University (PLASU), Dr. Monday Hassan, were recently abducted.
