The Ijaw Youths Council has implored Ijaw politicians to unite and work together to develop Bayelsa State and Ijaw land.

The president of IYC, Peter Igbifa, made the call in Yenagoa when he led his executive council members to give the state Governor, Douye Diri, a letter of credence confirming an award bestowed on him by the Ijaw youths as their Grand Ambassador.

Igbifa lauded Diri for his commitment to the development and progress of Bayelsa and the Ijaw nation, describing his leadership style as credible.
