Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, are nervous about announcing their engagement, according to a new report
Singer, dancer,actress Jennifer Lopez and actor, Ben Affleck nearly got married 20 years ago but postponed the wedding four days before the ceremony, blaming “excessive media attention.”
However, according to NY Daily News reporter Richard Johnson, the couple would prefer to would follow the private, secret route this time around when it comes to tying the knot.
“So this time they’ll try for secrecy, if they are smart, I’ve heard.”
“The big hurdle was their kids, but they seemed to have conquered that hill.”
Lopez told People magazine recently;
“Before, we kind of put [our relationship] out there. We were naïve and it got a little trampled.”
Affleck has three children with actress Jennifer Garner, while J.Lo has twins with singer Marc Anthony. “They are balancing their romance with family.”
Lopez, who has been married three times, reportedly still has the engagement ring from Affleck from 20 years ago, as well as the ring she got from former fiancé, ex-Yankee Alex Rodriguez.
“She collects engagement rings like the Gabor sisters,” the report adds.
“The couple is beyond grateful for getting a second chance and they cannot imagine being with anyone else.”
