The Imo West Senator, Rochas Okorocha, on Thursday met with President Muhammadu Buhari.

Okorocha met with Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, over his presidential ambition.

According to Okorocha, he informed Buhari about the injustices meted to him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The former Imo State governor had declared his intentions to run for the Presidency in 2023.

Shortly after Okorocha declared his intentions, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, filed fresh corruption charges against him.

EFCC had filed a N2.9 billion corruption charge against Okorocha, stressing that he misappropriated the money when he was the Governor of Imo State.
