However, Lorenzo Insigne broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute before Pedro levelled parity for the host.
Fabian Ruiz broke the heart of many Lazio fans when he netted the winning goal in the 94th minute.
The win means Napoli sit at the top of the Serie A on 57 points while Lazio sit 7th on 43 points.
