Award-winning blogger and author, Chinedu Hardy Nwadike has revealed that he will be devoting a lot of time to teaching primary and secondary school children tech skills.

In a project he tagged ‘Tech-Up with Hardy’, he said that he wants to provide something that is missing generally in the system.

Chinedu Hardy Nwadike said that it is so unfortunate that most secondary school graduates lack basic computer skills while their counterparts in other countries are already learning online.

“We want to provide something that is missing and we understand how important this can be as it can influence the career path of some of these children”

“For me, it is about teaching them skills that can make them relevant at the level they are and we’ll also find a way to follow them up to ensure they are putting the knowledge into good use”, he said.

Adding that it is a way of giving back to society, Chinedu Hardy Nwadike who is the president of Imo State Bloggers Association said that there are lots of opportunities on the internet and if the school children who are the future should take advantage of it, they will be assured of a good place in the beautiful future that is ahead of them.

The project which is carried out via OtownGist Media and Entertainment is open to primary and secondary schools in Imo State and Hardy said that letters will soon be sent out to some schools they have chosen.

“It’s open and more of a partnership between us and the schools. They need to have a few things on ground while we provide the rest”, he said.
