Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has expressed sadness over the gruesome murder of Bamise Ayanwola.

The body of the 22-year-old citizen was found with some parts missing.

In an address Monday night, Sanwo-Olu said the life of every citizen matters, adding that the government does not take security for granted.

He vowed that no stone would be unturned in the probe and effort to arrest everyone found culpable in the incident.

“The driver of the BRT bus involved in this unfortunate incident has been arrested.

“Lagos Bus Service Ltd has been directed to cooperate fully with security agencies in their investigations,” he said.

Sanwo-Olu assured that the full weight of the law would be brought upon all involved in the murder.

The governor commiserated with Bamise’s family, friends and prayed that God would console them.

Promising that the deceased will “get the justice she deserves”, Sanwo-Olu said BRT services remain safe despite the condemnable act.
