For failing to organize fresh elections after the expiration of their tenure, the Kano State Governor, Dr Umar Abdullahi Ganduje has dissolved the leadership of the Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, KACCIMA, with immediate effect.

The Governor frowned at the sit-tight attitude of the sacked executive officers, ordered their quick removal.

According to a statement signed by the Secretary to the Kano State Government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji, it became necessary to take the action owing to the inability of the current leadership of the body to organize a fresh and acceptable election long after the expiration of their tenure.
