“Just be kind” Willow Smith breaks silence after her father Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars

Willow Smith has reacted after her father slapped comedian Chris Rock for a joke he made about her mother Jada Pinkett Smith.

Jada has alopecia and Chris Rock made a joke about her bald head looking like ‘G.I. Jane’ – a movie character who has a shaved head. Will thereafter stormed the stage and slapped the comedian over the joke which he found distasteful.

This has generated mixed reactions and debates.

Taking to Instagram days after the incident, Willow shared a quote that reads: “You know who’s going through a lot right now? Literally everyone. Just be kind.”
