Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel, has named Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic as the two Blues players that deserve credit amid the current situation at Stamford Bridge.
Tuchel said Havertz and Pulisic took responsibility for their turnaround at Chelsea, adding that they will have the club’s full support.
The German said this ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League tie against Brentford at Stamford Bridge on April 2.
“Christian was in the same situation as Kai,” Tuchel told Chelsea’s official website.
“Both of them took responsibility for the turnaround, so it’s their responsibility, and they deserve the credit.
“They did amazingly, and you can see it on the pitch.”
He added, “If the players step up their responsibility on a daily basis and fight heavily for it and accept no excuses for themselves, and dig into the situation and dig their way out, then they will have our full support.”
