Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, will remain at Stamford Bridge, amid a link to Manchester United if the Blues can resolve their future.
This claim was made by former Chelsea star, Glen Johnson, who believes that Tuchel will do everything within his power to stay at the West London club.
Tuchel has been linked with a move to Manchester United since Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich was sanctioned by the UK government.
Chelsea cannot buy or sell players until a sale of the club goes through, while the reigning Champions League holders are unable to sell match tickets.
There is no guarantee that a new owner will want to keep Tuchel in charge and the former Paris Saint-Germain coach has a close relationship with Ralf Rangnick, who is helping Man United decide on their next permanent manager.
“I think not if he gets some guidance from the Chelsea board about a deal being close,” Johnson told Bettingodds.
“However, if this situation bubbles on for twelve months, then yes. People will be looking for their own futures.
“But if this is done in months, then Tuchel and the players have got some confidence in that, then no, I don’t think he would be interested in the Manchester United job at all.”
