According to the governor, his administration would be re-strategizing with the Bank of Industry for the purpose of business concerns operating in the state, particularly in the agro allied sector.
“We’ve resolved to empower and mobilize micro small and medium scale enterprises; we are reinvigorating the Ogun State Government Bank of Industry(BOI) fund by re-strategizing with the Bank of Industry for the benefit of businesses operating in the agro allied sectors,” he noted
While also noting that his administration would continue to do more to improve the agro allied sector of the state, he called on the Ogun State Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture and other critical stakeholders, to join hands with his administration in its quest to continue to bring in Foreign Direct Investment into state.
The governor, who also noted that his administration would continue to embark on the construction of roads that connect the state with the neighbouring states, disclosed that the ongoing agro cargo airport and the Agbara-Atan-Lusada road would be completed before the end of the year.
“We will continue to construct roads that connect us to neighbouring states, just as we have done with the Ijebu-Ode-Epe road, Abeokuta-Siun Interchange road and the Agbara-Atan-Lusada road, which will be completed by September of this year. Let me assure all of us that our International Agro Cargo Airport will be ready on or before September, 2022,” Abiodun stated.
