Bola Tinubu, an All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant, has disclosed what he discussed with President Muhammadu Buhari about succeeding him in 2023.
Tinubu said Buhari urged him to make his presidential intentions public.
He disclosed this during a parley with APC members in the House of Representatives on Wednesday.
The former Lagos State governor said that the President would know how to support his ambition after he goes public.
According to Tinubu: “Buhari, during the discussion joyfully and enthusiastically asked me to come out for them to see how he will promote my democratic credentials.”
Tinubu recently informed Buhari of his lifelong aspiration to rule Nigeria.
The former Lagos State governor had disclosed this after a meeting with the President at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
