Hundreds of Zamfara State women on Tuesday trooped out to the streets of Gusau to celebrate the 2022 International Women’s Day.

DAILY POST reports that the women’s rally started from the State Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, moved to the Emir of Gusau’s Palace and the office of the state Deputy Governor and then terminated at the State House of Assembly.

The event was organized by the office of the Zamfara State first lady, Aisha Bello Mohammed Matawalle while the overseeing Commissioner of Women and Children Affairs, Zainab Lawal Gummi led the rally.
