The family of Deacon Umunnakwe from Ihiagwa in Owerri West LGA of Imo State would forever be grateful to God for the successful surgery their Daughter, Miss Blessing Umunnakwe, underwent at Cairo in Egypt.

Young Miss Blessing who won the 2021 MEXT Postgraduate Scholarship organized by the Japanese Government, was hindered from resuming studies at the University of Tokyo in October 2021 due to an ailment that grew worse leading to the lost of the Scholarship.

After several failed efforts at treating the Young Lady and with a referral from the National Hospital Abuja for a surgery at Cairo in Egypt, the family sought for help from Office of the First Lady, Her Excellency Barr. (Mrs) Chioma Uzodimma, through her Non-Governmental organization, GoodHope Flourish Foundation.

Following her empathy on the young Lady, the first Lady prayed on the State Government for succor and to her amazement, Gov. Hope Uzodimma approved the full sponsorship of the Medical Trip to Egypt.

Today, young Miss Blessing Umunnakwe is recovering from the surgery at a fast pace. As the family visited Her Excellency at the Government House yesterday, they expressed gratitude for the amazing love showered on them by the State Government while praying for God’s blessings upon the first family.
