Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo has praised the wives of Nigeria police officers, saying they are more patriotic than many think.

Soludo stated this while receiving the wife of the Inspector General of Police, Hajiya Hajara Usman Alkali Baba, who was on a working visit to the state.

Soludo said he was particular about their faith in Nigeria, despite the lives of their husbands not being guaranteed every day they leave home to serve the country.

The governor said: “There is a lot to learn from the psychology of Police Officers’ Wives. Much as life itself is very much uncertain, the degree of uncertainty that a Police Officer would leave his family and come back unhurt is very much higher.
