As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility, the US Mission in Nigeria led by the Deputy Chief of Mission, Kathleen Fitzgibbon, arrived Imo State yesterday.
The visit was with a campaign aimed at complementing the State Government’s progress in the vaccination against COVID-19.
The governor in receiving the delegates from the US mission assured he is for an Imo with quality and affordable health care to the people.
“In our commitment to an Imo State with quality and affordable healthcare services to the people, we are encouraged by the US Mission’s appreciation of our efforts and records in that regard”, he said,
He further stated that his administration will continue to partner with international bodies for the betterment of every member of the state.
“My administration would continue to partner with International Agencies and Corporate Organizations in the provision of good governance to our people”.
He afterward encouraged all the traditional rulers in the state to cooperate with their people and the organization to take the vaccine.
“I, therefore, encouraged our Traditional Rulers, Religious and Community Leaders, to co-operate with the Mission for a successful exercise, which is at no cost, as they target the rural areas”, he said,
