The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has been urged to expel a member of the House of Representatives, Farah Dagogo.

Dagogo is a governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The lawmaker and “political thugs” were declared wanted on Wednesday by the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.

Wike accused Dagogo of sending “cultists” to disrupt the screening of aspirants at PDP’s State Secretariat in Port Harcourt.

But, Dagogo denied any involvement in the incident.

Rather, he accused Wike of lying and bullying.

However, Deji Adeyanju, an Abuja-based lawyer, said Wike was right to have declared the former militant wanted.

Adeyanju claimed that Dagogo and his “guys” are paid to weaken the PDP at a time when Nigeria needs a strong opposition.

In a chat with DAILY POST, the human rights activist, also urged PDP to expel a former Abia State Deputy Speaker.

According to Adeyanju: “Wike is right to declare Ex-Militant, Dagogo wanted for mobilizing thugs to halt PDP screening in Port-Harcourt.

“The PDP should also expel former Abia Deputy Speaker seeking to halt its presidential primaries.

“These guys are paid to weaken the opposition and every democracy needs a strong opposition but I doubt PDP have the required discipline to do the needful.
