The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has reviewed the timetable for its primary elections ahead of the forthcoming general elections.

A statement issued by the National Organizing Secretary of the party, Suleiman Argungu said the timetable was adjusted due to the encroachment of two work-free days in the course of executing its activities for the 2023 general elections.

Argungu said the governorship primaries which were fixed for May 18, will now hold on May 22nd while the state House of Assembly primaries will hold on May 24th.

The primaries for Senate and House of Representatives are now May 24 and 25 respectively.

He added that the party has fixed Saturday, May 15 for the screening of presidential, governorship, Senate and House of Representatives aspirants, while that of the House of Assembly will take place on May 14.
