Paris Saint-Germain winger, Angel Di Maria, has told the club’s fans that teammate Lionel Messi doesn’t pay attention to their booing.

Di Maria said “it’s hard to believe” that supporters would target Messi, “the best player in the world”.

DAILY POST had reported that Messi and Neymar were booed by their own fans during their home Ligue 1 game against Bordeaux in March.

The fans expressed their frustration after PSG’s elimination from the UEFA Champions League in the round of 16 stages at the hands of Real Madrid.

“The best player in the world whistled… it’s hard to believe,” Di Maria told Todo Pasa on Argentinian radio station Urbana Play FM.

“Here, it happens with the best in the world. Leo does not pay attention, it is a detail. It’s football. We know it’s like that, it has to be like that.
