Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa, Odion Ighalo and Shehu Abdullahi joined Muslims around the world to mark Eid-el-Fitr with friends and families on Monday.
Eid-el-Fitr marked the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan, and the Nigerian government had declared Monday and Tuesday public holidays to commemorate the Muslim festival
Musa, who plays for Turkish club Fatih Karagunruk, posted a large family picture on Instagram with the caption: “Eid Mubarak.” Ighalo, who has been unstoppable this season in the Saudi Professional League, netting 25 goals in 33 games, posted a picture of himself with his three children in Arabian attire on social media and accompanied the picture with a caption: “Eid Mubarak to all my Muslim families #blessed #thankful #gratitude #grateful.”
