Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro has said that the club has been winning since Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos left Santiago Bernabeu.
Casemiro said this while reacting to Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe’s Real Madrid snub.
The Brazilian said Mbappe would not do well whenever he plays against Real Madrid, urging everyone to respect the Frenchman’s decision but dismissed suggestions that it was a big blow for Los Blancos.
Recall that Mbappe was touted to join Real Madrid this summer, but he decided to stay at PSG, signing a new three-year deal a few days ago.
Speaking to the media ahead of Real Madrid’s Champions League final with Liverpool on Saturday, Casemiro said (via Marca): “This club does not live on players. He [Mbappe] is going to keep winning, it’s his story. Cristiano is gone, Ramos is gone, and Madrid will continue to win.
“Mbappé is a great player and you have to respect his decision. It’s his life, his family… May he do very well except when he plays against Madrid.”
