The Ekiti State Government has announced that the Primary School Leaving Certificate and Placement Examinations into Public Secondary Schools across the state have been rescheduled to hold on Thursday, June 23, and Friday, June 24, 2022.

The state Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Dr. Bimpe Aderiye, in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, explained that the change was to guarantee smooth conduct of the examination.

The Commissioner charged all relevant stakeholders to ensure that their children and wards are punctual, stressing that the examination would commence at 8 am prompt.

She added that the affected pupils are to take along their identification slips as well as writing materials such as HB pencils and erasers.

Assuring that the state government would leave no stone unturned towards ensuring a conducive atmosphere for teaching and learning in the state in line with best global practice, Aderiye thanked all stakeholders for their understanding and compliance.
