Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has reportedly told the club’s new owner, Todd Boehly, to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Presnel Kimpembe during the summer transfer window.
Tuchel is keen to bolster his defensive position this summer in a bid to replace the departing Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
Chelsea’s top target was believed to be Jules Kounde, with recent reports claiming that he has already agreed on personal terms but the Blues have been unable to agree on a fee with Sevilla at this moment.
According to The Sun, Tuchel has asked Boehly to delve into that transfer kitty and try to sign the very impressive Kimpembe.
When Tuchel left PSG 18 months ago, Kimpembe was disappointed to see the German leave after he helped the player win two Ligue 1 titles and reach the Champions League final.
It will be difficult for PSG to sell Kimpembe this summer, considering the French Ligue 1 champions are one of the richest clubs on the planet.
There is no amount of money that would convince PSG to sell Kimpembe, so unless the Frenchman requests that he can leave – Boehly will not be able to give Tuchel this transfer signing.
