It is worthy to note that Comrade Nwadike was in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) some months ago, but had to join Labour Party when he discovered that the main opposition party had concluded plans to give automatic tickets to seven members of the Imo State House of Assembly who were being sidelined by the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership in the House because of their opposition stance.

Incumbent lawmakers like Chigozie Nwaneri, Okey Onyekanma, Paschal Okolie, Anayo Onyemaechi, etc were also cleared by the electoral body.
