A 25-year-old man, Ghaddafi Saleh was confirmed dead on Wednesday July 20 after he was brought out unconscious from a gutter in Kano state.
Confirming the incident, spokesman of the Kano State Fire Service, Saminu Abdullahi said firemen on emergency duty who were alerted that a man fell into a gutter at Tarauni, Zaria Road, by veterinary hospital, swung into action and arrived the scene at about 07:34am.
The victim was later confirmed dead, and his remains handed over to a Police Inspector, Bashir Abdullahi, of Zaria Road Police Division.
Saminu said;
”Today being Wednesday 20 July 2022, our formation received an emergency call at about 07:26 am from one Malam Abdulkadir.
“He reported that a man fell into a gutter at Tarauni, Zaria Road, by veterinary hospital.”
