The management of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON will commence the airlift of Nigerian pilgrims from Saudi Arabia after the 2023 Hajji pilgrimage from tomorrow, July 15.

The Executive Secretary, Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board, NSPWB, Umar Makun Lapai made the disclosure while speaking with newsmen in Saudi Arabia.

He said the exercise will end on the 13th of August, 2022, explaining that this was the outcome of the Board’s meeting with the management of NAHCON in the Holy Land.

The executive secretary explained that pilgrims from Niger State will return in batches the same way they came to the Holy Land and urged them to exercise patience and seize the opportunity to pray fervently for Nigeria and Niger State in particular, for peace and tranquillity.

Makun Lapai further explained the board will begin issuance of return tickets to Niger State pilgrims by Sunday, 17th July 2022.
