The Kogi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has condemned the attack on its members in the Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The PDP, in a statement on Tuesday, signed by Dayo Onibiyo, Director of Communication, warned against the attack, saying “it will allow the police to conclude their investigation before taking action.”

DAILY POST had earlier reported that several persons were injured and properties destroyed after suspected thugs invaded the venue of a meeting of the PDP youths in Ologba, Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State on Monday.

The party in the statement said it will not be business as usual as the party gets themselves prepared for the 2023 general election.

Onibiyo, however, appealed to its members to remain calm despite the provocation.

He warned that the party will no longer fold her arms and see her members being attacked or killed.
