Former Kano Governor, Senator Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau, has said he is yet to decide on his movement out of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Speculation has it that Shekarau has concluded plans to dump his new marriage of convenience with his former political arch-rival, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, in the NNPP for the PDP.

Shekarau’s plan to dump Kwankwaso’s NNPP was exposed midway but his media aide, Dr. Sule Yau Sule, said on his principal’s social media page that his mentor is yet to decide on dumping his party

“Please disregard any news that Senator Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau is moving out of NNPP to PDP whatever would happen would be known in a matter of weeks,” he added.

Similarly, reports have it that Shekarau is scheduled to meet with All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential hopeful, Senator Ahmad Bola Tunubu, sometime next week.

These reports, according to some inner members of the Shekarau camp, did not go down well with his Shura Council who were said to have rejected their boss moving out of APC.
