The Lagos State Police Command has neutralized robbers terrorizing the Apapa area, days after their latest attack.

Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin said they were killed in a gun duel with officers of Area B Apapa.

The spokesman noted that the robbers fell to the superior firepower of the police operatives.

Their names are Sodiq ’m’, aka Foreigner (recently released from prison) and Habeeb ‘m’, aka Kiki.

The gang members were trailed to a hideout in Ajegunle, where they met their waterloo.

Hundeyin said one Beretta pistol, one locally made revolver pistol with four rounds of 9mm live ammunition, and one expended shell of ammunition were recovered.

The police advised residents to desist from crimes, adding that “the long arm of the law will always catch up with criminals no matter how long it takes”.
