Students of various federal universities across Nigeria residing in Kaduna, on Tuesday, called on the Federal Government and Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to see call off the over five months strike.

President of ASUU, Professor Emmanuel Osodeke, on Tuesday had hinted that the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) is scheduled to meet with Federal Government representatives today, over its prolonged strike.

Some students of the universities, while speaking to DAILY POST in Kaduna, while expressing confidence that good news may come out of their meetings, further begged the ASUU to see reason to call off the strike in the interest of not only the students, but for all, including the lecturers.
