The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has vowed to go after the sponsors and perpetrators of the obaship crisis that claimed lives and property in Agosasa, Ipokia Local Government Area of the State.

DAILY POST reported yesterday that three people died on Monday, while houses and cars were set aflame by some angry youths.

The youths were protesting the efforts of some politicians in the town to allegedly impose an unpopular candidate as the next Oja of Agosasa.

The governor, while calling for calm in the town, said he had directed the police in the state to restore peace in the town, ensure normalcy and fish out those behind the violence with the view of prosecuting them accordingly.

He, however, assured the residents of Agosasa that adequate security will be provided, urging them to remain calm and go about their normal businesses without fear.
