Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Bauchi State Command on Thursday, decorated 72 newly promoted officers with their new ranks.

Speaking during the ceremony in Bauchi, the Commandant, NSCDC, Mr Ameh James, applauded the newly promoted officers for their doggedness to duties and congratulated them on their promotion.

He said promotion only comes from God with responsibilities, hard work and selfless services.

According to him, the promoted officers were promoted based on their performances, hard work, commitment and proactiveness.

While calling on other officers yet to be promoted to ensure they put in more effort in the discharge of their duties, rather than being demoralised.

The NSCDC boss said the Commandant-General of the NSCDC, Ahmed Audi, had done enough to elevate the officers to their new ranks and wanted them to double their efforts in fulfilling the mandate of the Corps.

“This event will be memorable and indelible in the minds of the officers that have successfully been promoted.

“However, if you want success, you need to be liberal and humble by being nice and compassionate to your subordinates.

He called on all the officers promoted to buckle up and double their efforts as they have more tasks ahead.
